The march was a disaster .We are not used to doing this stuff. The Police redirected the rout and hundreds of west ham fans were waiting for a march that when the other way."

Where were you waiting? Why didn't you come to the park?

Jez, there's a name from the past, he was a great guy, always laughing... there were some great guys from Bromley.

I'm from Welling originally, started going with the King-twins, they introduced me to Cass and that mental crew from Woolwich... Tommy Mann, Roger, Martin & Big Mick, that café in Woolwich by the ferry was always rammed on a Saturday full of mental teenagers.

I might know you, I will WHOmail you in the next couple of days for a chat. I'm sure I met Steve Field and really sorry to hear that, he had a lot going for him? Vic still going last time I spoke, and so is his mate Jez I'm told, but I moved away so don't see much. Lost touch with the Irish brothers but they were are are all top blokes.

fuck my Bromley & co, you must know me... I know the brothers forget their names, had some great nights in Bromley with them... remember Steve Field who knocked around with Vic (both from Bromley), he became a Barrister we were great pals, unfortunately he committed suicide in Dubai last year, absolutely slaughtered me.

awful game Soldo, the journey was crap and everything else was just shit... my old-man went ballistic at me when I got home, I was lucky not to be booted out of the house, he believed the press until he saw the massive welts on my back from the police batons.

Interesting that OK... I was 14 at the time and all I remember reading was that our lot had rioted big time... also remember the Bonzo `Scum' statement...

think it was Barker and someone else who laid the reef, we'd go back Friday night and the truth of what happened wasn't out, that didn't happen for a week or so... we were slaughtered in the press as they just showed the running battle inside the ground with the Spanish plod, they were nasty fuckers in riot gear and they just battered the fans... a lot of fans had their families with them everyone stood together and just fought for their lives, it was shit (it was the Franco years), probably the worst game I ever attended.

After what went on in Madrid, Bonds was reported as having described the West Ham fans involved as "scum".
The next Saturday we were at home to Watford.
Before kick-off, a couple of fans did run on the pitch, but that was to lay a wreath on the centre spot.

As the players were warming up just before kick-off, a chant of "SCUM, SCUM, SCUM" came from the West Side, to which Bonds responded with a V sign.

There was a really bad atmosphere in the ground that day. Not as bad as yesterday, of course.

Ron... I was at that game West Ham v Castilla, I cannot remember any supporters being on the pitch that said, I do remember the two supporters that died over there, one was from NZ and the other was off our coach... absolute nightmare of a game where we got the blame for everything but in reality it was the old bill beating the shit out of fans, Lewisham & me were kicked out at half-time and we had to fight our way back to the hotel.... sad times.

Re: West Ham Fans March on the 10th March - It's off the Board & TRWHFG have breathed a huge sigh of relief
I think Noble was justified in what he did. he wants the TEAM to do well and so pitch invasions don't help. the protest against the owners was more than justified.

"Name another one of our past captains that would’ve behaved like Noble, would Billy Bonds done that or Moore.No."

Actually, Billy Bonds likely would have done, judging by his comments and actions after West Ham's trip to Madrid in 1980.

Also let’s not ignore Noble in this, very disappointed with him.
He is our club captain and being club captain you should be aware of what’s going on.

We as supporters are on our knees and at breaking point, we are trying to save our club, but instead of a little word in the bloke ear he wants to ruck with him, that’s the fastest I’ve see him move this season.

Name another one of our past captains that would’ve behaved like Noble, would Billy Bonds done that or Moore.No.

Saw another fella having a argument with someone who was holding up an anti board banner, fuck me are these people actually happy with the board, do they think this is as good as it gets, do they enjoy watching our club die, fucking dry lunches the lot of them and you can bet they are fucking boring cunts.

Re: West Ham Fans March on the 10th March - It's off the Board & TRWHFG have breathed a huge sigh of relief
Fantastic re-action from ours today, but those that dished out the slaps to the pitch invaders when they got back to the stand fucked me off.
It look like they were from the 1966 seats, but whoever you are, you are cowards, if I were near it I would’ve definitely got involved. There were at least 5 trying to get at them and throwing punches. Cunts.

Fucking have a word with yourselves, we are west ham, it didn’t happen during the Bond days and shouldn’t happen now.
I think a lot of the Bond holders have seats in the 1966 area, so that figures.
